3D Warehouse
There are many software with which one can produce 3d jewelry. This is a design process that allows designers to create 3d models. The computer allows the immediate visualization of the model and a designer that is proficient in his work can speed through the creation of a 3d jewelry model very rapidly. Designers love the ease with which jewelry designs can be created. A 3d jewelry model is the actual completion of the designers work. It is being referred to as well as cad jewelry design. These designs are then available as a cad file or can be saved in stereo lithography, which is an electronic file in the stl file format.

With 3d jewelry the design is much easier for the designer.

Jewelry Cad design has come a long way. In the early stages of computers, it could only be dreamed of what designers can create today . The industry itself has geared up to provide plug ins for standard design software so that repetitive work can be performed much faster by a cad jewelry designer.

Once the article is rendered, the design is then constructed using the needed materials for proper adaptation to the function of the item. For example, 24K Gold was used in ancient 3d jewelry model because it was more available than silver as source material. Before the 1st century many civilizations also incorporated beads into jewelry. Once the discovery of gemstones and gem cutting became more readily available, 2. the art of jewelry ornamentation and design shifted. The earliest documented gemstone cut was done by Theophilus Presbyter (c.1070 - 1125). who practiced and established many applied arts and was a known goldsmith. Later, during the 14th Century, medieval lapidary techniques evolved to include cabochons and cameos.

Early design commissions were often constituted by nobility or the church to honor an event or as wearable ornamentation. Within the structure of early methods, enameling and repoussé became standard methods for creating ornamental wares to demonstrate wealth, position, or power. These early techniques created a specific complex design element that later would forge the baroque element in 3d jewelry.

CAD is used in the design of tools and machinery and in the drafting and design of all types of buildings, from small residential types (houses) to the largest commercial and industrial structures (hospitals and factories).
CAD is mainly used for detailed engineering of 3D models and/or 2D drawings of physical components, but it is also used throughout the engineering process from conceptual design and layout of products, through strength and dynamic analysis of assemblies to definition of manufacturing methods of components.CAD has become an especially important technology within the scope of computer-aided technologies, with benefits such as lower product development costs and a greatly shortened design cycle. CAD enables designers to lay out and develop work on screen, print it out and save it for future editing, saving time on their drawings.
